As part of Intent Media's commitment to hiring specialist staff who understand the sectors it serves, whilst having a personal passion for gaming and technology, Ben Parfitt joined the team direct from leading video games distributor Creative in 2005.

His knowledge of the markets made him a key member of the MCV editorial team that has successfully maintained its number one position in the UK and international market.

Parfitt helped to drive the magazine's news and trade community site www.mcvuk.com to a position of dominance in the sector and switched over to the role of Online Content Manager in April 2007. He now works across Intent Media�s entire online portfolio.

Co-ordinating editorial and commercial strategies, Parfitt is a key part of the biggest ever Intent Media publishing resource, ensuring that it can meet all reader and client demands, whilst constantly growing the company's influence and readership.
