Dell drops Dimension desktops

Inspiron desktops join laptop range
Dell has dropped its Dimension line of desktops, replacing them with them with new Inspiron models.

The new range, which shares its name with Dell's line of Inspiron laptops means that the manufacturers of desktop PCs current offering now consists of Inspiron, XPS and XPS Gaming.

The new desktops can come with AMD or Intel processors, and are on average 40 per cent smaller than the old Dimension range.
