I have just read the first 35 of so reasons and started to loose the will to live. I have found one good thing about Vista and that is you can do a 'disk cleanup' for all users on a PC at the same time and that is not worth upgrading for.

here are the corrections:

#3: It's the safest version of Windows ever. When you can't boot into it, nobody can hack it.

#17: It's like having Clippy as your own personal anchorman

#23. Because it's like a DRM candy store.

#31. Because your PC lets you know if something's wrongwith a lovely BSOD and a bunch of hex code that means nothing to you.

#36. Get a "do-over" when you need it. In the middle of typing that Word document when the system hard-locks, you can do it all over again.

#41. Because your PC will stay up to date, automatically. Even when you DON'T want the update that is crashing everyone's system, you get it anyway.

#50. Get more out of the web Tabbed Browsing. Something most people have been doing since 2001 with Mozilla.

#54. Stay entertained wherever you go. Swapping stories about Vista crashes is always a laugh riot once you've got a few beers in you.

#63. Help is always available. It usually ends in "Windows Troubleshooter was unable to help you." But we get an A for effort, right?

#100. Because your network is the backbone of your business. That's why whenever your PC makes any sound, your network performance drops to a crawl.

Any company who needs to tell you 100 reasons you need to upgrade a year later, need to be honest with the list.

1) Because if you don't buy it, we can't make loads more money
2) Because we're out to help our hardware friends by making your fast XP PC so much slower

"Seeing Windows Vista for the first time may leave you searching for words." - from the page linked in the article. Why am I not surprised?
