Identifies retailer's performance as key reason for downturn

Memory vendor OCZ has blamed UK retail group DSGi for its poor performance in the fourth quarter of 2007, results that saw its shares fall sharply.

It said that poor sales in DSGi had had a knock on effect at the vendor.

"The retail market in the UK was horribly soft," chief executive Ryan Petersen told Reuters. "We generate about 20 percent of sales from retailers like DSGi," he added.
