Konica Minolta has taken on former CEO of Toshiba Americas Richard Taylor to the position of senior executive vice president and chief operating officer, reported The Channel Insider.

Taylor will take charge of the firm’s sales and services divisions alongside administration and training duties, reporting to president and CEO Jun Haraguchi.

As well heading up Toshiba Americas, Taylor has also held the positions of senior vice president of sales, marketing and business operations at Toshiba.

“Rick has a vast amount of industry experience in creating new revenue avenues while maintaining a cohesive and productive sales strategy for partners,” Haraguchi said in a statement. “We are fortunate to have the opportunity to bring someone of Rick’s stature into our organisation.”
