Only 200,000 units available for device's launch in June
Elonex has begun the roll out of its anticipated One sub-notebook, taking the opportunity to unveil black, pink, green, white and silver models.
However, the firm has warned that demand may outstrip supply of the £99 laptop. It admitted that it will only have 200,000 units ready for the device's launch in June.
The company has announced that it now taking pre-orders of the device from as little as £10.

...that's one ugly PC. If they flipped it upside down so that the thick part was under the keyboard it'd be fine but as it is, I wouldn't want to whip one of them out on the train... an Eee PC on the other hands though...

"One ugly machine" it may be, but the internal components located top-heavy suit the tablet-style option should you wish to remove the keyboard and use the One as a tablet or digital photo frame. For a student with a limited bank balance, it's within my bank balance, and will save my main notebook from scratches, bumps and save my shoulders from constant strain. And lets not forget the target audience - children.

yes its ugly but yes its only �100 for the basic model, i think for who its ment to be used by its spot on. Im goin to buy one just cos its �100, and i think many people will feel the same.

I Like it; it's quirky and looks like it will handle a bit of physical abuse. The tablet option looks very cool, but as they say 'the proof of the pudding is in the tasting'
