Firm will handle pen tablet range in UK
The range includes Cintiq Interactive Pen Displays and Intuos3 pen tablets for professional users, and the Bamboo line for consumers.
“We have selected Gem because of its strength within the software and retail markets. With its extensive customer base including high profile retailers, corporate resellers, Internet and mail order companies as well as independent retailers, Gem secures a mass market approach,” said Frans Ditmer, director of sales and business development for Wacom Europe GmbH. “Additionally it provides access to new markets, which are of a growing importance to Wacom.”
Simon Lee, commercial director of Gem added: “We are glad to enhance our current portfolio with Wacom’s high quality interface devices. For professional digital content creators, there is no alternative and the Bamboo range of pen tablets in particular, will be of great interest for consumers.
