Distributor takes on former IBM and Motorola man as chief operating officer
Distributor Westcon has appointed Dean Douglas as its new chief operating officer
Douglas previously held senior positions at Motorola and IBM, and joins directly from a chief executive role at wireless services firm LLC International.
In his new position he will handle Westcon’s global operational activities, reporting directly to president Tom Dolan.
“Westcon enjoys a great reputation and occupies an extraordinary position in IT distribution,” said Douglas.
“The company is respected as a global player and delivers products and solutions that are valued by its customers; I would like to build on this success and extend its reach even further into the market.”
