I am very VERY surprised, especially in PC World (who stock some) that you were not directed to an AppleMac. You would not need any extra purchase of Software. Comes with firewire to connect your DV Camcorder and iLife suite with iMovie already in. An iBook with a DL DVD burner comes at about �700, cheaper elsewhere.
