Ingram Micro's Retail Expo attracts top vendors

Annual trade event hits Islington, London on September 9th, with plenty of new products on show

Distributor Ingram Micro will open doors on September 9th to its second annual trade event: Retail Expo 2008.

The trade show, taking place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, will showcase new and upcoming products and exclusive deals from big name vendors such as Microsoft, HP, Lexmark, Toshiba, Linksys, Cisco, Acer, Apple, V7, Canon, Asus, Targus, Logitech and AMD.

"High levels of interest from our vendor and media partners enable us to stage this annual event, and we’re delighted to host the Expo to support the retail channel," said Julian Klein, managing director at Ingram Micro UK.

"With pressure on the IT channel and the High Street, it's imperative that IT resellers and retailers take time out to explore new opportunities to further support their business through this difficult time."

There will also be a number of exclusive offers at the show – Targus is giving away laptop bags to the first 300 visitors to its stand and Lexmark will give away Z1420 wireless colour printers to its first 50 visitors.
