Sales executive appointed to help boost AMD’s share price
Graphics vendor AMD is to appoint its head of GPU sales for EMEA John Byrne as its new global vice president for CPU, GPU and chipsets.
Under Byrne’s leadership, the EMEA GPU sales team delivered record breaking results for AMD, with comparatively lower costs than any other region.
It is hoped that Byrne’s appointment will help boost AMD’s share price during 2009.
