Nokia battered as profits crash

Profits slump 90 per cent, but company says demand will remain stable for FY09
Nokia has posted net sales of 9.3 billion euros in 1Q09, down 27 per cent both year-on-year and sequentially.
Net profits reached 122 million euros, heavily down on the 1.2 billion euros in the same period in 2008.
